We’re a tribe of passionate humans from the Arabian Gulf, and for centuries, camels have guided us to unknown lands. They have nurtured a spirit of racing in humanity, they have inspired humans to sing for them, they have given us leather made artefacts. Above all they have treasured us with precious camel milk, our local super food. At Camelicious, we believe we have a duty to preserve this ancestral know-how, to spread the love for camels with the rest of the world and to share its benefits for human health and wellbeing.

In the 1990s, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum had a vision to integrate the traditional Arabic species, the camel, into the modern food chain. In 1998, the Central Veterinary Research Laboratory (CVRL) began research into camel milking and production techniques, laying the foundation for today’s camel dairy industry, inspired by the traditional Bedouin diet.
In 2003, the Emirates Industry for Camel Milk & Products was established with a vision to produce camel milk for safe human consumption, combining tradition with modern technology. In 2005, the first camel milk production facility meeting stringent EU health standards was founded, with the Camelicious brand, the first all-natural milk product, introduced to the market a year later (2006).

Our state-of-the-art production facility is one of the largest camel milk processing units in the world, producing approximately 5 million liters of camel milk per year. Our facility is FSSC 22000 certified, ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety. Over 60 SKUs across 10 diverse product categories including Fresh Camel Milk, Flavored Milk, Long-Life Milk, Camel Milk Powder, Fortified Camel Milk Powders, Ice Cream, Ghee, Milk Tablets, 2-in-1 Coffee, Protein Bars, and Camel Milk Chocolates are being produced using only the milk from our own farms to maintain superior quality control, ensuring complete traceability and consistency in every product. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, our factory specializes in advanced dairy processing techniques to preserve the natural goodness of camel milk. We proudly operate one of the world's largest camel milk powder production units, with a daily capacity of 13 MT. Our expertise in spray drying, Sterilized Milk processing, and specialized formulations allows us to create premium-quality, nutrient-rich products. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, we continuously refine our processes to meet evolving consumer demands.
